MAVERICK PROJECT ENQUIRY: SETUP NOTES

WHAT'S IN THE FOLDER
index.html The whole form: layout, map, park data and logic in one file.
leaflet/ The map library (Leaflet 1.9.4, open source), bundled so it
                      doesn't rely on a CDN.
photos/ Park photos from the Maverick map, used for the nearby parks
                      list on the thank-you screen.

THE QUESTIONS
1 Location: a satellite view of the site appears once they give a town, postcode
or their location. They can mark out the site boundary by tapping its corners.
2 Project type 3 Stage 4 Site and council
5 Budget 6 Story and files 7 Contact details

PUTTING IT LIVE
  1. Upload the whole folder as it is, e.g. to maverickskateparks.co.uk/start-a-project/
  2. Link to it from a "Start a project" button. It fills the screen and works on phones.
To use it inside another page instead, put it in a full-height iframe.
  3. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Postcode and place-name search use postcodes.io
(free, no key needed). It covers towns, villages, suburbs and hamlets, and a
built-in list of about 4,400 towns is used if it can't be reached.

SENDING ENQUIRIES (needs setting up before going live)
Near the bottom of index.html, find CONFIG and set:
submitUrl Where enquiries are sent. Until this is set, the form works but
only writes the enquiry to the browser console.
websiteUrl Where the "Back to the Maverick website" link on the thank-you
                  screen goes.
    rateLow / rateHigh
The design and build cost per m² (550 to 850). The budget step
shows the range of park sizes between the two.

    satelliteTiles / satelliteAttribution
The satellite imagery. It uses Esri World Imagery, which must show
the Esri credit (already on the map). For a busy live site, set up a
free ArcGIS Location Platform account and add its key to the tile
address, or swap in another provider such as Mapbox or Google.
satelliteLabels Road and place names drawn over the imagery (also Esri).
Set to [] to turn them off.
simpleMap The plain grey map on the thank-you screen (Esri, light and dark).

Each enquiry is POSTed as multipart/form-data:
enquiry JSON text with all the answers (contact, location, the marked site
boundary as GeoJSON with its area in m², nearest parks,
project type and any "Other" description, stage, site, council, budget, notes, file names and a
lead score: Early, Warm or Hot).
files Any plans or photos they attached (repeat field).

The receiving end should email the enquiry to the team, and can send the customer a
short confirmation email. A hidden "website" field catches spam bots: ignore any submission where it
  has a value.

UPDATING PARKS
The park list is the same data as the Maverick map, copied on 9 October 2026. If parks
are added to the map, the data near the top of the script in index.html needs refreshing
and new photos adding to photos/.
