MAVERICK PROJECT ENQUIRY: SETUP NOTES

WHAT'S IN THE FOLDER
index.html The whole form: layout, motion, map, park data and logic in one file.
  basemap-dark.svg Map background, dark theme.
  basemap-light.svg Map background, light theme.
sketch.webp The hand-drawn park sketch shown faintly behind the front page.
Set sketchImage in CONFIG to '' to turn it off.
photos/ 169 park photos from the Maverick map, plus 8 feature shots
(the mav-*.webp files) used on the intro, stage, council and
funder screens. Swap any of these for new shots with the same name.

PUTTING IT LIVE
  1. Upload the whole folder as it is, e.g. to maverickskateparks.co.uk/start-a-project/
  2. Link to it from a "Start a project" button. It fills the screen and works on phones.
To use it inside another page instead, put it in a full-height iframe.
  3. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Postcode lookup uses postcodes.io (free, no key needed).

SENDING ENQUIRIES (needs setting up before going live)
Near the bottom of index.html, find CONFIG and set:
submitUrl Where enquiries are sent. Until this is set, the form works but
only writes the enquiry to the browser console.
bookVisitUrl Where the "Book a site visit" button goes.
contactName Who the customer is told will contact them.
    replyTime e.g. "2 working days".
ratePerM2 The design and build rate used by the budget calculator (700).
progressStyle The line along the top: simple (default), line (flowing skate line)
or section (skatepark cross-section with a skateboard).

Each enquiry is POSTed as multipart/form-data:
enquiry JSON text with all the answers (contact, location and nearest parks,
build type, stage, site check, council, budget, notes, file names and a
lead score: Early, Warm or Hot).
files Any plans or photos they attached (repeat field).

The receiving end should email the enquiry to the team and send the customer their
plan. Options: a small server script, a form service that accepts file uploads, or a
CRM form endpoint. A hidden "website" field is included to catch spam bots: ignore
any submission where it has a value.

UPDATING PARKS
The park list is the same data as the Maverick map, copied on 9 October 2026. If parks
are added to the map, the data near the top of the script in index.html needs refreshing
and new photos adding to photos/.
